Terms
GoodRep Terms of Service
GoodRep (goodrep.io) is operated by Reputation Management, Ltd., the legal entity that provides the service. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of GoodRep. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using GoodRep
GoodRep is provided to help businesses monitor, manage, and report on their online reviews and reputation. You may use the service only for lawful business purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
2. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You agree to notify us promptly if you become aware of any unauthorized access to your account or data.
3. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe according to the plan and billing cycle you select.
- Unless canceled, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
- You can change plans or cancel from within the billing section of the app; changes take effect at the end of the current period, unless otherwise stated.
4. Referral program
GoodRep may operate a referral program from time to time. When available, you may receive a shareable signup link or code after you complete an in-app eligibility step (such as a successful first sync of reviews). Someone who creates a new GoodRep workspace using your link or code may be treated as referred by you, subject to our fraud-prevention rules and technical checks.
- Referrer rewards. When offered, a referrer may receive account credit toward future GoodRep charges (such as via Stripe customer balance) after a referred workspace's first qualifying paid subscription invoice. Credit amounts **depend on your plan, the referred workspace's plan, and our published rules** (they are not always a full month at your own list price). Amounts, timing, and caps may change and are described in-app or in support materials where material.
- Referee benefits. Referred workspaces may be eligible for a discount on the first subscription invoice at checkout when they subscribe to an eligible plan (for example a full or partial discount on the first period, depending on tier and Stripe configuration). Exact terms are set by the Stripe coupon and checkout flow we use; eligible tiers may be limited; we may change or end referee discounts at any time.
- Abuse. We may deny or reverse rewards for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, coordinated fraud, exceeding velocity limits, or other misuse. We may change program rules with reasonable notice where practical.
This section is a summary. If anything here conflicts with a specific offer shown in the app or in Stripe at checkout, the offer-flow wording controls for that transaction.
5. Acceptable use
- You will not use GoodRep to generate, post, or facilitate fake, misleading, or incentivized reviews.
- You will not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, or disrupt the service or the third-party APIs it connects to.
- You will comply with the terms of the platforms you connect (including Google, Yelp, Facebook, and others).
6. SMS and messaging
When you use any GoodRep feature that sends SMS or similar outbound messages to consumers on your behalf (including when such features are provided through an integration or our infrastructure), the following applies. Many businesses collect permission through a web-based opt-in (for example a form or checkout step on a website); any method you use must still meet the consent standards below.
- Web-based opt-in. If you collect consent online (including on your own site, in an appointment or purchase flow, or through a web consent experience we provide in GoodRep when available), it must be affirmative: the consumer takes a clear action (such as selecting a separate checkbox or button labeled for SMS) after seeing disclosures that name your business, explain that they agree to receive text messages for review or feedback requests (and any other purposes you will use the number for, if applicable), note that message frequency may vary or give an approximate frequency, state that message and data rates may apply, and explain how to opt out (for example replying STOP). Consent must not rely on pre-checked boxes or bundled language that hides SMS among general marketing terms. Collect and retain a timestamped record of the consent (including what was shown and the action taken).
- Prior express consent required. You must obtain and retain clear, documented permission from each recipient before initiating automated texting, including GoodRep-assisted review-reminder workflows, consistent with carrier requirements and industry guidance, whether consent was collected on the web or through another lawful channel. Purchased lists, automated scraping of phone numbers, and consent obtained through deception or coercion are not allowed.
- Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for your messaging program: consent capture and proof, message content, frequency, identification of your business, honoring opt-outs (such as reply STOP), and compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and other applicable federal and state laws, and any registration or campaign requirements imposed by carriers or regulators. We may suspend messaging features if we believe you are violating these obligations or putting the service or other customers at risk.
- Truthful, scoped use. Messages must accurately reflect your identity and the purpose for which consent was obtained. You will not use GoodRep to send harassing, misleading, or illegal content, or to circumvent platform or carrier rules.
- Processors and carriers. Delivery may rely on third parties (such as messaging providers). You agree that we may pass messages and related data to those providers as needed to operate the feature, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Data, privacy, and third-party services
Our collection, use, and sharing of personal data is described in the GoodRep Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that we process data as described there and rely on providers such as Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, Nango, and Resend to operate GoodRep.
8. Termination
- You may stop using GoodRep at any time and can cancel your subscription from within the app.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create security or legal risk.
9. Data deletion and Facebook Login
You can request deletion of your GoodRep account and associated personal data at any time by emailing support@goodrep.io from the email address associated with your account. We will delete or anonymize account-level data within a reasonable period, subject to retaining information required for billing, security, or legal obligations.
If you connected GoodRep using Facebook Login, you can also revoke our access from your Facebook account settings (under Business Integrations or Apps and Websites). Removing the integration in Facebook does not automatically delete data stored in GoodRep, so please contact us at support@goodrep.io to complete any deletion request.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
GoodRep is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the service.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@goodrep.io.
