How to Connect Facebook (Meta) to GoodRep: Step by Step for Beginners
This guide assumes you already have a GoodRep account and have connected Google Business Profile first. Facebook is optional but helps if customers leave recommendations on your Page. GoodRep pulls that feedback into the unified inbox next to Google.
If Google is not connected yet, open goodrep.io/app and use Connect Google first. For Yelp, see How to Connect Yelp to GoodRep. For listings in general, see Where to Set Up Your Business Online.
What you need first
A Facebook account you can log into. Meta shows this login during the connection. GoodRep does not replace it. The link is secure so GoodRep can read review data for Pages you explicitly allow.
A Facebook Business Page that already exists. If you only have a personal profile, create a Page in Meta Business Suite or the Facebook app, then continue here.
Admin access on that Page. The Facebook user you use below must manage the Page in Facebook. Staff should use an account the owner set as admin.
Connect Facebook Pages in GoodRep
Step 1: Open the dashboard
Go to goodrep.io/app and sign in.
Step 2: Find the Facebook connection
On the main dashboard, find Facebook Pages or Connect Facebook. Click Connect Facebook (wording may vary slightly).
Step 3: Meta login window
A Meta window opens. Sign in with the Facebook account that manages the business Page. A personal account with no Page access will not work.
Step 4: Approve permissions
Read Meta’s prompts. GoodRep needs access related to Pages you manage so it can list Pages and sync ratings and reviews for those you choose. Approve to finish. Closing the window early cancels setup.
Step 5: Pick the correct Page(s)
If Meta asks which Pages to attach, select your business Page. Multi-location businesses with separate Pages can connect each one needed. Leave unchecked anything you do not want in this workspace.
Step 6: Sync
After returning to GoodRep, confirm the connection, then run Sync now on the dashboard (or use the Facebook sync control if shown). First sync may take a minute.
Step 7: Check Reviews
Open goodrep.io/app/reviews. Filter by Facebook. You should see recommendations Meta exposes for that Page. An empty list often means no public reviews yet, or the wrong Page is linked.
Replies. Where Meta and GoodRep allow, draft a reply in GoodRep and Approve to post to the Facebook thread.
If something goes wrong
Wrong account or no Pages listed. Log out of Facebook in the browser (or use a private window). Start Connect Facebook again and log into the account that is admin on the Page.
Connected, but no reviews. Compare the Page name in GoodRep to your live Facebook Page. The Page may simply have no recommendations yet.
For Yelp setup, use Connect Yelp to GoodRep. Support: goodrep.io/support.
The Bottom Line
One flow: Connect Facebook, log in as a Page admin, approve access, select the Page, Sync now, then confirm under Reviews. No new Facebook password is created inside GoodRep.
